Japan Beverage Machine Only Displays Products’ Nutrition Info

DyDo Drinco, a Japanese beverage provider, is taking nutrition disclosure to a new level by installing vending machines that only display the products' backside labels and nutritional information, according to a japantoday.com report.

The vending machines will not display the drinks' recognized labels but will show only the name of the drink and its nutritional information on the display board.

Customers will be better able to see if it's something that conflicts with their dietary needs or goals.

The installation is planned as temporary move at the Parche building at Shizuoka Station in Shizuoka.
